| We have an older home that had many electrical problems. After speaking to several local electricians, we were referred to Jim Dent of Point Loma Electric. Jim was great, he came out and showed us which issues needed to be handled first and which could wait. His prices were fair and he got the work done really fast. His work is meticulous, he was always on time, neat , pleasant and professional. He cleaned everything up every day and does not mess around. He was a pleasure to work with and clearly really knows his stuff. We have had him back several times and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top quality electrician. | |

| I cannot say enough about the service I received from Pt. Loma Electric. I had a simple ceiling fan issue which was not an emergency. James Dent, the owner, was so accommadating that even though we did not believe it was necessary, he was willing to fix our ceiling fan on a Sunday. Also, completely opposite of the cable company that says it will stop by in a 4 hour window (and then arrive even later), Pt. Loma Electric said they would arrive at 9 a.m. and they arrived at 9 a.m. There is no way I could rate my experience any higher. | |

| Jim is top-notch. If you are looking for the cheapest guy (as Jim warned me), this isn't who to call. If you want the job done right the first time, then this is your guy. I had him add a couple of electrical outlets and run speaker wire through drywall for my home theatre system. Not only did he do a great job on the wiring and finished in a day, I came home to find my flat-panel TV mount mounted for me without even asking. | |

Outstanding Quality and Service "We recently used Pt. Loma Electric (PLE) for a complete electrical re-trenching job for our homeowner's association and the work was completed professionally and on time. PLE went above and beyond the specifications in the contract to provide excellent service and keep all of our owners happy. What was great for this particular job is that PLE utilizes a unique "trench less" under grounding method which meant that our road did not get all torn up. Owner Jim Dent stands by his work and has always exceeded our expectations. We have used PLE for routine and special project electrical work for many years and we have never had an issue or problem with any of the work they have completed. PLE is the only way to go for all of your electrical needs." |

Reliability and Quality Workmanship "Jim and his Irish co-worker installed recessed lighting with dimmers in four bedrooms. The result is fantastic. They also installed some track lighting and replaced old outlets. We are very pleased with the results. The men were punctual and fast, and pleasant to have around. We will call them again with any future needs. "

First class service
"PLE just installed a new breaker panel and 220V line for me. Jim spotted some dangerous wiring in my attic in the process and fixed it at no extra cost. I was so impressed by his work I asked him to re-wire my sun room which had been wired by the previous owner. Jim was conscientious, diligent, and professional - I'll be recommending PLE to my friends and will definitely use them again for any other electrical work on my house |
